Effective date: October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Tactical Logistic Solutions, Inc. (“Tactical,” “we,” “us”) collects through tacticallogistic.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
We collect information you give us, information our website collects automatically, and a small amount of business information from data providers.
Information you give us
| Where | What we collect |
|---|---|
| Contact page form | First and last name, email, phone number, company or brand name, business type, monthly pallet volume, the services you are interested in, and anything you write in the message box |
| Calculator access form | The same fields as the contact page form |
| Pop-up inquiry form | The same fields as the contact page form |
| Booking pages (meetings.hubspot.com) | Your name, email, the meeting time you choose, and anything you add to the intake form |
| Chat | Your messages and any contact details you choose to share |
| Email and phone | Whatever you send or tell us |
Please do not send us sensitive personal information, such as government ID numbers or financial account numbers, through our forms or chat.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, our tools collect your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, how long you stay, where you came from (such as a search engine, an ad or an email), and how you click, scroll and move through pages. Section 4 lists each tool.
Our email tool records whether you open our emails and which links you click.
Information from other sources
We use ZoomInfo, a business data provider, to identify the companies that visit our site and to fill in business details such as company name, industry and size. Section 4 explains how it works.
2. How we use it
We use your information to run our business and to talk to you about it. Specifically, we use it to:
- Answer your inquiry, prepare a quote, and schedule calls you request
- Give you access to tools on our site, such as the AWD vs. Tactical calculator
- Send you emails about our services, industry updates and our newsletter, which you can stop at any time
- Understand how people use our site so we can fix problems and improve pages
- Measure which ads, emails and pages lead people to contact us
- Protect our site from spam, bots and attacks
- Keep records we are required to keep, and enforce our Terms and Conditions
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We do not send text messages to the phone number you give us.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information with the service providers that run our website, CRM and marketing, and we do not sell it for money.
| Provider | What they do for us |
|---|---|
| HubSpot | CRM, forms, pop-ups, chat, booking pages, marketing email and website analytics |
| Analytics (Google Analytics 4), tag management (Google Tag Manager), ad conversion measurement (Google Ads), maps and YouTube video | |
| Hotjar | Records how visitors move through our pages |
| ZoomInfo | Identifies the companies that visit our site |
| Trustpilot | Shows our customer reviews |
| Sucuri | Website firewall and security |
| WordPress/GoDaddy | Host the site and send the emails our site generates |
We may also share information:
- With our affiliates and the logistics partners needed to quote or deliver a service you ask for
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public
- As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business
- With your permission
Selling and sharing under state law. Some state privacy laws treat certain advertising and analytics tools as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even when no money changes hands. Our use of Google Ads conversion measurement and ZoomInfo may fall into that category. Section 6 explains how to opt out.
4. Cookies and tracking
Our site uses cookies and similar technology from the tools below. A cookie is a small file your browser stores so a site can recognize you on a later page or visit.
| Tool | Purpose | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Sucuri | Security | Block attacks on our site |
| WP Rocket | Performance | Caches pages so they load faster. It does not track you |
| Google Tag Manager | Tag management | Loads our Google measurement tags |
| Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Counts visits and pages viewed, and records when a form is submitted or our phone number is clicked |
| HubSpot | Analytics and marketing | Recognizes returning visitors, connects site visits to the contact record created when you fill in a form or book a meeting, and runs our pop-ups and chat |
| Hotjar | Analytics | Records sessions: your clicks, scrolls and mouse movement on our pages, so we can see where pages confuse people. |
| Google Ads | Advertising measurement | Tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads later submits a form or calls us. If you arrive from a Google ad, Google may show a forwarding phone number and report the call’s time, length and the caller’s area code. We do not record calls this way |
| ZoomInfo | Business identification | Matches your IP address and browser to a company in ZoomInfo’s business database, so we can see which companies visit our site |
| YouTube, Presto Player, Google Maps, Trustpilot | Embedded content | Show our videos, map and reviews. These providers may set their own cookies when the content loads |
We do not use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel or the LinkedIn Insight Tag.
Shared cookies. Cookies set on tacticallogistic.com can be read on our SplitSmart platform at splitsmart.tacticallogistic.com, because it sits on the same domain. Our Warehouse and Forwarding Portals run on separate domains and do not receive these cookies.
Your controls. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop forms or chat from working. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on and manage Google ad settings at myadcenter.google.com.
Do Not Track. There is no common standard for browser Do Not Track signals, so our site does not respond to them. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as described in Section 6.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it, or as long as the law requires.
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Contact records in our CRM (prospects) | 3 years after your last interaction with us, then deleted |
| Contact records in our CRM (clients) | For the length of the relationship plus 7 years, to meet tax, customs and contract record requirements |
| Form entries stored on our website | 90 days, after they have been copied to our CRM |
| Google Analytics data | 14 months |
| Hotjar recordings | 365 days |
| Security and redirect logs | 30 days |
| Website backups | 90 days |
If you unsubscribe from our emails, we keep your email address on a suppression list so we do not email you again.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, and we extend these rights to every visitor, wherever you live.
- Marketing email. Click unsubscribe in any of our emails, or email us. We will still send messages tied to services you use, such as quotes and invoices.
- Access and copy. Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy in a usable format.
- Correction. Ask us to fix information that is wrong.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your information. We may keep what the law requires us to keep, and we will tell you if we do.
- Opting out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising. Email us with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share” and we will stop the tools described in Section 3 from using your information. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as the same request for that browser.
- Appeal. If we decline your request, you can reply to ask us to reconsider. If we still decline, you can contact your state attorney general.
How to make a request. Email info@tacticallogistic.com or call (201) 809-1222. We will confirm your identity by matching the email address or details we already hold, and we will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why. You can use an authorized agent, and we may ask the agent for proof of your permission.
We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
7. Other things you should know
Security. Our site runs over HTTPS behind a website firewall, and access to our CRM and site administration is limited to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet will never be intercepted.
Children. Our site is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Where we process data. We are based in the United States, and our service providers process information in the United States. If you contact us from another country, your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States.
Other websites. Our site links to and embeds content from other companies, including YouTube, Trustpilot and Google Maps. Their own privacy policies govern what they collect.
Changes to this policy. We will post any update on this page and change the effective date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information we already hold, we will tell you by email or with a notice on our site.
Governing law. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, consistent with our Terms and Conditions.
